I've really been trying to expand my skills as a painter. For this piece I took a different approach and worked looser with thicker paint.
I was trying to capture the influences of the French Romanticists Théodore Géricault and Eugène Delacroix.

Classical, elegant, full of expression. A wonderful portrait and the lighting is fantastic. You really get a strong feel for the personality of this character. Wonderful work!
