Parasitic Slugby *hever

Scraps©2008-2013 *hever
I've been seriously considering going to prop making for films...not that I know anything about making props. But I've always wanted to learn and I've already started teaching myself.
I have an interview with a movie producer later this week about working on a horror/sci-fi/thriller about an outbreak of parasitic slugs. Ok, not really my thing, but gory things are really fun to make. So here is my maquette of said slug.

Hah. It's so funny...I hadn't thought about that film in years until today and I was actually looking up clips on YouTube earlier. St. Kitten is haunting me, so it seems ;)

Thanks--they hired me as the art director, we filmed it in September/October and it is currently in post-production. You can watch the trailer here: [link]
Sadly, I had nothing to do with any of the slugs...but I helped design/decorate sets, build effects, and craft props. :)
