Yeah. I'm going to stop making excuses.*
This is a quick drawing done with a mix of pastels, charcoal, conte, and woodless colored pencils (only because I picked up the wrong box when I made a quick stop at the store for some more pastels...grrr)
It is based off of a shoot I did with the lovely =Athansor and ~MrShazam is the model, although he'd probably not want me telling you all. Shhh. It's our secret.
Ultimate Fandom Contest 2: Book Characters- A young Severus Snape from the Harry Potter series. 2nd place...not too shabby Thanks to everyone who voted!
*I apologize to all and just know that I have some killer original ideas stored up for when I can dedicate my time to execute them fully.
YAY!!!!! Well done, my friend! You MADE THE WIG WORK!!!!! (You're happy now, aren't you? )
Ugh. I just got up, and am checking dA to avoid working on other stuff. (I sometimes oversleep the day after I've had to work a Saturday...don't know why...) I'll send you more pix in a bit...

I am happy. I'm actually wondering what I did with it and if I can somehow convince Chris to throw the costume on again so I can take more photos for further Snape-age. (I actually admitted to him the other night that I really enjoy making Snape art. Even though its a little sad that he's from Harry Potter, I think he's my favorite literary character. I think because he's strikingly similar to Heathcliff except there's that turning point where he goes from a self-destructive path to a self-sacrificing path. Anyway, I guess my point is that heart him like, woah.)
You deserve to oversleep every once in a while...especially if you have to work on the weekend
